The North Fond du Lac School District and Advocap Head Start are co-sponsoring Child Development Days at the Early Learning Center on Thursday, Jan. 24 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.; and on Friday, Jan. 25 from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Children who will be three years of age, on or before Sept. 1, 2013 are eligible for free hearing, vision and developmental screenings. In addition, the local police department in collaboration with the North Fond du Lac School District provide free DNA swab kits for parents of children in attendance.

These screenings provide information on children's growth and development, help build awareness of community resources, and address concerns parents have related to individual child development areas. The screenings may also help to identify students who are in need of further assessment.

To schedule a screening appointment, please call Kim Sales at the Early Learning Center, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., at 929-3762.
