Make public casino payout percentages

For many Wisconsin citizens, gambling at the Indian casinos is a preferred form of entertainment. However, there is significant information that could enhance their enjoyment and the outcome of gambling if it were made available. Specifically, there are two areas of information involved.

First, what minimum payout percentages does Wisconsin require of the casinos from their slot machines and video poker machines? Secondly, what are the actual payout percentages that each casino is providing to gamblers from each type of machine? This information is known to each casino. In many states, these percentage payouts are released annually.

Publicizing the outcomes (i.e., payout percentages) would be relevant and valuable information for our citizens. Some casinos would also benefit from the competitive advantage provided them by giving and then advertising generous payback percentages on their machines.

I believe this information should be made public.
