The Neenah-based Badger State Girl Choir shared the spirit of Christmas through seasonal concerts during its 2012-13 international tour to Spain, which began Dec. 26 and ended Jan. 2.

To close a concert at the Iglesia Nuestra Senora de los Angeles in Barcelona, the tour's 20 singers from the choir's Vivace and Angeli ensembles surrounded the audience of more than 400 people.

Then, the middle- and high-schoolers invited everyone to sing the carol "Silent Night" with them, in whichever of three languages - English, Spanish, or the song's original German - each person preferred. ...
