General Manager Ted Thompson and coach MIke McCarthy will have some days of soul searching ahead in light of the Packers' washout against the 49ers Saturday night in a divisional playoff game.

Receiving the most scrutiny will be Dom Capers and the Packers defense, which had no answer for Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers' offense, which lit up the scoreboard for 45 points.
