King, Stutz earn NFDL Police Benevolent scholarships

Gretchen Stutz and Ashley King were recently announced as the recipients of the North Fond du Lac Police Benevolent Association scholarships for 2012. Scholarships are offered by the Police Benevolent Association annually to graduating seniors of Horace Mann High School.

Gretchen Stutz is the daughter of Randy and Linda Stutz of North Fond du Lac, and she is attending St. Norbert College. She was chosen as a recipient of the $500 scholarship for her volunteer services to the community, as well as excellence in school. Her contributions to the community include volunteering at St. Baldrick's, Loaves and Fishes, leaf-raking, and Key Club activities.

Ashley King is the daughter of Keith and Barb King of North Fond du Lac, and she is attending UW-Stevens Point. She also was chosen as a recipient of a $500 scholarship for her volunteer services to the community and excellence in school. Her contributions to the community include the Volunteen Program (St. Agnes Cancer Center), Shop with a Cop, St. Baldrick's, leaf-raking, Covenant United Methodist Church, Post Office Food Drive, Free SPIRIT Riders, and Key Club activities.
