FDL School District STEM Institute now accepting applications; Feb. 1 deadline

Applications are now being accepted for Fond du Lac School District's STEM Institute, the new Grade 6-8 charter school which will open in the fall of 2013.

This school, similar to the STEM Academy, will focus on science, technology, engineering and math. Applications are available online at www.fonddulac.k12.wi.us (under Schools and STEM Institute); or at any of our public schools. Application deadline is Feb. 1.

Interested parents are invited to attend the STEM Academy and STEM Institute Open House on Jan. 24 at the Franklin Building, 401 S. Military Road. Please enter at the Walker Street entrance where tours will start at the following times: 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. There is no need to pre-register for these tours.
