FDLPL Express celebrates first year with Jan. 26 birthday party

Fond du Lac Public Library opened its first branch - FDLPL Express - a year ago on east Johnson Street offering a "to-go" collection of popular materials for all ages.

Express will celebrate with a one-year birthday party from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26. Browser the library mascot will be on hand to serve birthday cake, and kids are welcome to stop at the craft table to create a make-and-take birthday hat.

The event is free and open to the public; no registration required.

FDLPL Express hours include: Mondays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursdays and Fridays 2 to 6 p.m.; and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
