Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said he won't play in this year's Pro Bowl because of an injury.
"I didnít pass my physical," said Rodgers on his ESPN Milwaukee radio show this afternoon. "I donít want to get into too much of the details."
He mentioned having suffered injuries this season to "multiple lower extremities."
He added: "My ankle has definitely been a problem."
Rodgers said his most painful injury of the season came when he got kicked in the calf in the game against the Houston Texans.
The Pro Bowl will be played on Jan. 27 in Hawaii, the week before the Super Bowl.
Linebacker Clay Matthews and center Jeff Saturday were the only other Packers players named to the Pro Bowl.
Mike McCarthy and his Packers staff were named to coach the NFC team in the game.
Jason Wilde, host of Rodgers' show, just tweeted: "Packers QB Aaron Rodgers said after his radio show ended that he received an injection in his knee today."
