HELPING OUR ALLIES: Good old America. Here we go again, sending troops and Patriot missiles to Turkey to aid in its defense against Syria. This after Turkey denied the U.S. air, land and naval docking space in our effort to fight the Iraq war. It seems all of our so-called allies are entitled to the sacrifice of the American taxpayer to justify their means. Yet we Americans should not expect any kind of entitlement or security for our sacrifice in taxation all our lives. Taxation without representation has been a point in the past. I guess if politicians say the rest of the world needs it, the taxpayer can say we are represented and give up our entitlements. After over 50 years of paying taxes, I'm soon to be one of the 47 percent who feels he's entitled to complete representation of those dollars and not have to sacrifice some more. My plea is for America to make some calls and vote new politicians in and the incumbents out.
