College honors

? Jolene Valladares and Lindsay Vogels of De Pere, and Kadey Yang of Green Bay, have been named to the fall semester dean's list at Marian University, Fond du Lac.

? Sara Monnette and Tina Panske received bachelor's degrees in paralegal from Globe University-Green Bay. Denise Laurent, accounting; Kevin Bowman, business administration; Kelly Van Der Wegen, medical assistant; Mindy Chaudoir, Alisha Doubek, Alexandra Loch-Mally, Kellie Raether, Sandra Roeser, Linsey Rogala and Destiny Wallace, veterinary technology, received associate degrees. Diplomas were also granted to Amanda Menne, massage therapy; Cassondra DuBois, Jennifer Galliford, Tori Heidorn, Jennifer Johnson, Rochelle Perry, Taylor Sullivan and Amanda Suzawith, medical assistant.

? Courtney Nielsen, Green Bay, was named to the 2012 fall term dean's list at North Central College, Naperville, Ill.

? Ashley Daanen, De Pere, was named to the fall 2012 dean's list at North Dakota State University, Fargo.

Other honors

? Eighth-grader, Sam Ricker, took first place in the Our Lady of Lourdes School Geography Bee. Representing grades 4 through 8, Michael Turriff, Seth Baeten, Riley Drew, Parker Olson, Josh Cribben, Liam McDonough, Jacob Morgan, Cal Jensen and Max Ricker also participated. The next level of competition is a written test. Those who earn top scores on the written test will participate in an oral competition at the state level.

? Our Lady of Lourdes School, De Pere, has proven compliance with Wisconsin Religious and Independent Schools Accreditation and is a member in good standing.
