Two Rivers column: Two Rivers Plan Commission recommends rezoning of Formrite property

The city's Plan Commission on Monday night of this week took action recommending that the property at 1816 10th St. be rezoned B-2 Business.

This action came in response to an application for rezoning filed last week by the current property owner, Formrite, and the property's prospective purchaser, the Two Rivers Historical Society. The TRHS wishes to relocate the Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum to the Formrite building.

This matter now goes to City Council, which will first consider amending the city's Comprehensive Plan to identify commercial uses as being appropriate for this ...
