Prep girls basketball: Lincoln tripped up at home

The Manitowoc Lincoln girls basketball team looked like it might cruise at home early on, but Pulaski roared back and won 55-37 in the Fox River Classic Conference tilt.

The Ships came out hot, jumping out to a 10-2 behind a suffocating defense while drawing several fouls on the offensive end and converting their free throws.

Kali Hackmann took control for Lincoln (9-3, 5-3) early on, scoring eight points in the first quarter as her team led 14-10 at the end of the frame. The Ships cooled off slightly as the quarter wore on, but continued to take advantage of an aggressive Red Raiders defense. ...
