I'm writing this to express my concerns and feelings on the extreme violence situation in the US.

My heart goes out to all the people who have suffered from the shooting tragedy in Newtown, Conn., and others. Things like this should never occur in our society. There seems to be a strong focus by the federal government and other people who have a desire to limit guns or types of guns available to the general public for hunting, target practice, or self-protection.
