Judge dismisses lawsuit against Wood County

A judge has dismissed a $90,000 lawsuit filed against Wood County by an attorney who handled negotiations for landfill tipping fees, the county's attorney says.

Wood County Circuit Judge Nicholas Brazeau Jr. issued an oral ruling Monday, granting the county's attorney, Robert Kryshak, his motion to end the case in favor of the county. Brazeau ordered Attorney Patrick Hudec, who filed the lawsuit against the county, to pay court costs and attorney fees, according to online records.
