10 YEARS AGO: Members of the Stratford Area Fire and Ambulance Department are seeking donations for additional defibrillators. The department serves all or a portion of eight communities, including the town of Green Valley.

Details for an upcoming Abbotsford mystery theater have been finalized. The ShowCase Players will perform "Murder at Rutherford House" at Molitor's New Saloon Rib and Steakhouse in Abbotsford.

25 YEARS AGO: Marshfield elementary school bands will present a winter concert in Marshfield Senior High School Auditorium. The concert will feature the fifth- and sixth-graders from Washington, Lincoln, Grant, Madison, Nasonville and Jefferson elementary schools.

50 YEARS AGO: Dr. G.C. Chronquist presided at the meeting held in the Beebee Forum Room of the Marshfield Free Library. Chronquist is president of the American Field Service in Marshfield.

75 YEARS AGO: A special meeting of the Country Club Holding Company at the Central State Bank assembly room will decide on the proposal to lease the golf course in the town of Lincoln to William J. Lesselyong Post No. 54, American Legion.
