Don Dunbar, adjutant general of Wisconsin, and senior Wisconsin Army National Guard leaders will join families and friends to welcome home approximately 130 soldiers of the Oshkosh-based 1157th Transportation Company during a ceremony at the Experimental Aircraft Association. The 1157th returns from nearly 10 months of conducting convoy escort missions in Afghanistan.

Kids work on traffic lights

7 p.m. on www.postcrescent.com : Local high school kids have been spending time at FVTC to work on traffic lights that Appleton donated to the technical college. These high school kids are learning to wire and operate the lights. It's for students interested in pursuing a career as an electrician or an electrical engineer.
