Saturday, Jan. 19: The Outagamie Conservation Club will host its 42nd annual Sno-Mo/ATV Races at N3502 Mayflower Road, Hortonville. Registration will be accepted from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Races start at noon on the club's 1/3-mile iced track. The competition is open to all classes and also features junior, Pee Wee and Powderpuff races. Parking is $5. Admission to the races and evening dance is free. Saturday, Jan. 19: Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 105 N. Olk St., Hortonville, is hosting a blood drive from 7 to 11 a.m. Donation appointments are recommended and can be made by calling Sally at 920-779-6689 or by visiting www.save3lives.org. Walk-in donors are welcome.

Saturday, Jan. 19: The New London Public Library will hold a "Reading to Canines" program from 10 to 11:40 a.m. For more information, call 920-982-8519.

Saturday, Jan. 19: Green Apple Folk Music Society will host an open stage performance at 2 p.m. at Mosquito Hill Nature Center. Six local performers will share their favorite original and traditional folk tunes in a family friendly setting. Admission is $5 per person or $2 for Green Apple members. Sunday, Jan. 20: A dance will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at Hortonville Community Hall, 213 Main St. Bring your own beverage and a healthy snack to share.

Wednesday, Jan. 23: A blood drive will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside New London Family Medical Center, 1405 Mill St. Donation appointments are recommended and can be made by calling 800-280-4102 or by visiting www.save3lives.org. Walk-in donors are welcome.

Saturday, Jan. 26: Winter Family Fun Day will be held from noon to 3 p.m. at Mosquito Hill Nature Center. There will be snowshoe hikes, ice bowling, sledding, s'more-making around a camp fire and Family Winter Olympics. This year's event also will feature a dog sled presentation; "Science of the Ultra-cold" by Hortonville educator Scott Brielmaier; a learning session on snowshoeing; and a falconry program.
