The outcome of a case before the Wisconsin Supreme Court could impact a similar case being heard in Dodge County involving former Fox Lake Police Chief Patrick Lynch.

The 56-year-old Lynch is accused of sexually assaulting a friend's daughter more than 20 years ago and later stalking her as an adult. He is also charged in two unrelated stalking incidents involving a former Fox Lake Police Department employee and a man who used to date Lynch's ex-wife.
