Resch Center, other county venues in line for upgrades in 2013

About $260,000 will be invested in the Resch Center this year to make things better for sports fans' ears.

Another $200,000 will be spent to improve conditions underfoot. And hundreds of thousands more are scheduled to be invested in general upgrades to the building as part of work on the Resch and two other venues in the Brown County-owned sports and entertainment complex off Armed Forces Drive.

Officials say the most noticeable change will improve muddled sound in certain parts of the seating area during basketball and hockey games. That upgrade, planned for the fall, is part of $1.1 ...
