Building permit activity in Green Bay dipped significantly during the month of December.
According to city records, builders took out 123 permits for planned construction activity totaling $2.9 million.
That is down from 165 permits for $5.8 million in construction during the same month a year earlier.
The largest project permitted in December this year was a $660,000 office building remodeling on Pine Street. A year earlier, the largest project was a $3 million expansion of the city's CityDeck attraction along the Fox River.
