CEO: Loan growth will be flat, rates low

Associated Bancorp reported improved performance in 2012, but sees profit pressures ahead in 2013. One way it will deal with that is by buying other banks.

Associated President and CEO Philip Flynn said he expects loan growth will be flat and interests rates will remain low.

"We are not assuming any pickup from economic activity," he said Thursday during a conference call after Associated's earnings were released. ...
