In their long-awaited home debut, the L-C Spartans put their first mark in the "W" column with a 48-24 victory over Marinette last Thursday night (Jan. 10).

After an 8-8 first quarter, L-C started to pull away in the second quarter. Marinette had a small rally to close out the quarter, but a basket by Maggie Liebeck gave L-C a more secure 22-15 lead at halftime.
