As a gangly baseball player at Auburndale High School, Jordan Zimmermann never gave much thought to what his legacy would be in the area.

At that point of his baseball career, playing for the Marshfield Post 54 American Legion program during the summer was all about having fun with friends from the area like Jake Frombach.

So imagine Zimmermann's reaction when he received a phone call from Post 54 president Mike Steinwagner informing him his No. 23 jersey was going to be retired and he was been inducted into the organization's Hall of Fame. ...
