Prep roundup: West wrestlers down SPASH in WVC dual

The Wausau West wrestling team got pins from Bee Lor, Travis Hettinga, Cody Grunenwald and River Judd to beat Stevens Point Area Senior High School 47-22 on Thursday to remain undefeated in the Wisconsin Valley Conference, and hand the Panthers their first conference loss.

"SPASH is a scrappy young team and we knew it would be a tough dual. We got the bonus points in the weights we needed them in," said West coach Troy Fabry, whose team heads into the Ellsworth Duals this weekend, facing state-ranked Ellsworth and Hudson and nationally-ranked Apple Valley (Minn.).
