Fourth-grade student donates to Locks of Love

Locks of Love is a public nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the U.S. and Canada younger than the age of 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss, according to the organizations website. Julia Zamzow is a fourth-grader at St. Peter Lutheran School in Schofield.

Health care provider offers flu prevention videos

As numbers of reported flu cases continue to increase in Marathon County, Ministry Health Care has produced a series of prevention videos.

The videos cover flu basics, proper hand-washing techniques and tips for health care facility visits. The prevention videos can be accessed at www.ministryhealth.org.
