Library OKs design, prepares to take bids for revamp

Renovations in store for McMillan youth services department expected to cost $245,000

The McMillan Memorial Library Board has approved final designs for its planned renovation of the library's youth services department, a library spokeswoman said.

Board members approved seeking bids Wednesday for the $245,014.71 project, said Vicki Steiner, business manager for the library. Leaders hope to have the bid documents available for contractors to fill out in about 10 days.
