For the 2013 Presidential Inauguration, President Obama is asking people across America to commemorate the event by participating in a National Day of Service on Saturday.

Your local area opportunity to participate in the National Day of Service will be helping sort food from Second Harvest from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Central Wisconsin Community Action Council's Adams Food Pantry, 1874 Highway 13, north of Friendship.

The Adams County Democrats are organizing this National Day of Service event. Participation is limited due to the size of the facility, so schedule a time to help by calling Harry or Lucille Davis at 608-339-6867.
