Fox Valley school leaders say collective bargaining decision won't affect budgets

Fox Valley school officials say a federal court ruling Friday that upheld Wisconsin's law effectively ending collective bargaining for public workers will have little impact on district budgets.

The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago found the 2011 law constitutional and its ban on the automatic deduction of union dues acceptable. In September, a state circuit court judge said the law was unconstitutional as it applied to school and local government workers.
