For the Marshfield School District, 2013 will be a year of transformation.

After years of debate and uncertainty surrounding the future of the middle school, the first large-scale renovations at the 74-year-old building are set to being this summer.

Preliminary plans call for the renovation project to happen over three stages, building and grounds director Ron Sturomski said, with the exterior brick and windows to be replaced this summer, along with some technology improvements in the school's basement. ...
