Danielle Johnson wanted to create a cheer and stunt team for people with special needs.

Johnson, at the time a coach with Wisconsin Rapids-based Wisconsin Extreme All-Stars cheer and stunt team, helped form the Dream Team three years ago. Although Johnson has since moved from the area, Dream Team members can now be found doing cartwheels, somersaults and other routines every Monday in the gym at the former Mark Motors building in Biron.

As part of the team activities, peer participants - volunteers from the Wisconsin Extreme All-Stars team - work with special needs members from throughout ...
