NO END IN SIGHT: Back in the 1960s during the Vietnam War, we were taking 18-year-olds who just graduated high school in May and having them in Vietnam after a little basic training by September or October. We are now training people in the Middle East to defend themselves, and it seems like it's a never-ending process. We sent our own troops to Vietnam with minimal training, and now it takes forever to get these people trained up. I don't understand it.
SEND OFF: I'm giving a thumbs down to coach Mike McCarthy for not playing Donald Driver for at least one or two plays just to show him we appreciate him for all his years playing for the Packers.
