Ironman triathlon sparks friendship between local athletes

After Jodi Katzenberger, 39, of Marshfield finished her first Ironman triathlon, she became addicted to the rush of training for the race and meeting new people.

Katzenberger completed Ironman Wisconsin in September with friend and coworker Amanda Seubert, 28, of Marathon City.

Seubert said the confidence she gained from completing the 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike ride and 26.2-mile run inspired her to begin training for another Ironman. ...
