A year-long "experiment" by Budweiser comes to fruition Monday when the beer giant releases Budweiser Black Crown, a beer culled from the efforts of 12 brewmasters asked for their take on the beer.

Black Crown is described as blend of two-row caramel malt and four types of domestic hops, finished on a bed of Beechwood chips. It is described as featuring more body, color and hop character and, at 6 percent, has a slightly higher alcohol content.
