RIVER FALLS - A lot of people may have been taking a win over WIAC cellar dweller University of Wisconsin-River Falls for granted Saturday.

The seventh-ranked UW-Stevens Point men's basketball team didn't fall into the trap, especially with a showdown against UW-Whitewater looming in three days.

DeVon Jackson came off the bench to lead four players in double digits with 19 points and the Pointers turned up the heat in the second half to secure a lopsided 80-44 win over UW-River Falls. ...
