Ruby's Pantry ministry provides 300 shares at monthly event

Saturday was the first time there were more people needing food than Ruby's Pantry was prepared to provide.

For 17 months, East Gate Alliance Church, 2203 E. Becker Road, has opened its doors to Minnesota-based ministry Ruby's Pantry, run by Home and Away Ministries, which gives people about 60 pounds of groceries for a $15 donation. The ministry serves 300 to 350 families a month at the Marshfield site.
