Altmann family partners with Blood Center for drive

BloodCenter of Wisconsin is partnering with the family of Joe Altmann to help patients in need at local hospitals.

Staff Sgt. Altmann graduated from Columbus High School. He entered the military in spring 2005 and lost his life in the line of duty when he was 27 years old. Altmann was a strong believer in blood donation and encouraged his family and friends to donate.

Janice Altmann, Joe Altmann's mother said, "Blood donations make a profound difference for hospital patients, and we are proud to honor Joe's memory at this blood drive." ...
