Green Bay Gamblers forward Kyle Novak was named the USHL's forward of the week on Monday.

Novak not only recorded his first USHL hat trick during a 5-1 victory against Sioux Falls on Friday, but the Western Michigan recruit did so by scoring in three different ways, tallying shorthanded, power-play and even-strength goals in the contest.

The 20-year-old also had a goal and an assist in the Gamblers' 9-4 win at Chicago on Saturday, giving him 48 points (18 goals, 30 assists) on the season, where he is currently the league's third-leading scorer.
