Home sales showed strong growth in 2012

Increase in median sales prices, however, was slight

Home sales in Wisconsin grew a healthy 20.7 percent in 2012, but median sales prices increased more slowly at 1.1 percent.

Northeastern Wisconsin results mirrored the state, according to the Wisconsin Realtors Association, which released its December and year-end report Monday. Home sales in Northeastern Wisconsin increased 21.1 percent and median sales prices were 1.7 percent higher.
