Assembly aims to edit state regulations

State Assembly leaders have decided to copy-edit the rules that run Wisconsin.

If carried through to the end, it will be a massive task. The Administrative Code consists of 1,768 chapters and 11,764 pages of rules in 18 volumes.

"One thing we have consistently heard all across Wisconsin, (the) regulatory environment is important," said Assembly speaker Robin Vos, R-Burlington. ...
