Omro outlasts Ripon in the second half for win

The Omro Foxes girls basketball team used a second-half comeback to down the Ripon Tigers 46-38 in Ripon on Monday in a non-conference contest.

The Tigers held a 23-21 lead at halftime and upped that to a seven-point lead early in the third quarter.

"We made some nice adjustments at halftime," Omro coach Quinn Heintz said. "We put Moira Kilgas on (Ripon's Marissa) Bunge at half and that really changed the game. Making that swithc on defense really boosted us." ...
