We've come a long way, but we still have a long way to go.

That was the message of speakers at the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Community Celebration on Monday.

About 150 people attended the ceremony at the Stevens Point Area Senior High auditorium. Katherine Munck, executive director of Justiceworks which organizes the event, said that past events were better attended, but sub-zero temperatures likely kept more people from venturing out Monday. ...
