Sportainment event helps many local families

People attending today's Lincoln High School boys basketball game will be able to have fun off the court and help a local cause.

Proceeds from the 11th annual Lincoln High School Sportainment Night in Wisconsin Rapids will go to the Tri-City Children's Dream Foundation, a nonprofit organization that grants wishes and vacations to children with developmental and/or physical disabilities.

Sportainment Night is the culmination of a semester-long sports and entertainment marketing class at the high school. The objective of the class is to provide experience in sports management. ...
