Sesquicentennial group will meet

The town of Grant Sesquicentennial Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 6 at the town hall on Highway WW.

The agenda includes an update on progress for a book, work on possible event celebration in 2014 and ideas. Members will report back on assignments and visits to community personnel as discussed at the last meeting.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Bring your ideas, stories, pictures or just listen and comment. The year of 2014 is right around the corner, and the time for action is now. The committee is set up to scan items, so call Dorothy Raasch at 715-423-6589, Vicky Zimmerman at 715-325-6319 or Sharon Schwab at 715-325-3827.
