Reader question: I see Crazy Buffet and Watermill were both closed Monday on Appleton Road. Did they both close down for good?

Answer: No. One closed temporarily and has reopened. The other has a sign on its door that indicates it will reopen. The restaurants are near each other in the Shopko outlot in Menasha.

Crazy Buffet had a heating element go out on its buffet table, and it was closed while the problem was fixed. It was open Tuesday.

The Watermill has a sign on its door that says it will reopen Feb. 1 under new management. Maria Katris, owner of the restaurant with her brothers Kostas and George, could not be immediately reached for more information.

If Katris returns a call, Iíll update this post.
