When Cathie Tierney has TV time, she gravitates toward the Food Channel. Among her favorite shows are "Iron Chef," "Cupcake Wars" and "Chopped."

"If I wasn't running a credit union, I'd love to be a chef," said Tierney, president/CEO of Community First Credit Union.

Tierney is one of eight community leaders paired with a chef to compete in the first-ever Cuisine for a Cause fundraiser Feb. 1 at the Grand Meridian in Appleton. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. ...
