Neenah schools seek to improve communication

Full-time manager position for district advanced

A study committee recommended last week that the Neenah Joint School District hire a full-time communications manager to publicize its accomplishments and improve its relations with staff and the public.

The position was not included in the 2012-13 budget, but District Administrator Mary Pfeiffer said she hopes to fill the position yet this school year. It would have an anticipated salary of $48,000 to $58,000.

School board member John Lehman embraced the creation of the new position, in part to ease the communications load carried by administrators. ...
