After being in office just two weeks, Fond du Lac County's new district attorney already has a stack of files about a foot tall on his desk.

Eric Toney, a 28-year-old Fond du Lac native, began a four-year term on Jan. 7 after beating incumbent District Attorney Dan Kaminsky in an August Republican primary election and then running unopposed in the Novmeber general election. Toney received 59.4 percent of the vote, while Kaminsky drew 40.6 percent

When asked about the campaign and its effect on the start of his term, Toney said he just wanted to move on and get to work. ...
