Green Bay's downtown homeless shelter appears safe from further court action for serving a growing population during the current deep freeze.

St. John the Evangelist Homeless Shelter has seen its populations continue to climb this week as temperatures have dropped to subzero wind chills.

Assistant City Attorney Jim Mueller said the city would not issue any more citations against the shelter for exceeding occupancy limits during the ongoing cold snap. ...
