Grace Potter came roaring onto the Meyer Theatre stage on Tuesday night and laid into "The Lion The Beast The Beat'' as her opener like a woman on a one-person global warming mission.

She and her band The Nocturnals wasted not so much as seconds pouring it on for a near-sellout crowd of 880 in a venue the rock singer with the killer voice to match that killer wardrobe seemed genuinely charmed by. ...
