Spring pool referendum hinges on Monday meeting

Whether or not there will be a referendum this spring on the future of Aageson Pool was to be decided at a special Oconto City Council meeting on Monday, Jan. 21.

The council on Jan. 15 voted 8-0 to reopen discussion on the question at the request of Council President Al Schreiber, who said the council hasn't received proper or sufficient estimates of the costs.

Schreiber also said constituents are concerned about plans for needed repairs to be done by volunteers. ...
